From Philadelphia & Quakertown Area

Northeast Extension

Take the Northeast Extension (I-476) north to Quakertown exit (Route 663 north ) to Route 309 north. Continue to I-78 east to Hellertown (Exit 67). Turn left at bottom of exit ramp onto Main Street (Route 412 south). Go to 4th traffic light and turn left onto Penn Street. Lost River Caverns is 1/2 mile on the right.

Route 611

Take Route 611 north to Route 412 north into Hellertown. At 2nd traffic light in Hellertown (Penn Street) turn right. Continue 1/2 mile to Lost River Caverns on the right.

Route 309

Take Route 309 north to I-78 east to Hellertown (Exit 67). Turn left at bottom of exit ramp onto Main Street (Route 412 south). Go to 4th traffic light and turn left onto Penn Street. Lost River Caverns is 1/2 mile on the right.

From Lancaster & Reading Area

Route 222

Take Route 222 north through Reading to Route 309 south. Continue to I-78 east to Hellertown (Exit 67). Turn left at bottom of exit ramp onto Main Street (Route 412 south). Go to 4th traffic light and turn left onto Penn Street. Lost River Caverns is 1/2 mile on the right.

From Stroudsburg Area

Route 33

Take Route 33 south to I-78 west (Exit 67), to Route 412 south. Turn left at bottom of exit ramp onto Main Street (Route 412 south). Go to 5th traffic light and turn left onto Penn Street. Lost River Caverns is 1/2 mile on the right.

From Allentown, PA Area

Route I-78

Take Route I-78 east to Hellertown (Exit 67). Turn left at bottom of exit ramp onto Main Street (Route 412 south). Go to 4th traffic light and turn left onto Penn Street. Lost River Caverns is 1/2 mile on the right.

From New York City and northern New Jersey Area

George Washington Bridge

Take the NJ Turnpike (I-95) to route I-78 west (at the Newark Airport exit). Take I-78 west to Hellertown (Exit 67). Turn left at bottom of exit ramp onto Main Street (Route 412 south). Go to 5th traffic light and turn left onto Penn Street. Lost River Caverns is 1/2 mile on the right.

Lincoln Tunnel

Take I-78 west to Hellertown, PA (Exit 67). Turn left at bottom of exit ramp onto Main Street (Route 412 south). Go to 5th traffic light and turn left onto Penn Street. Lost River Caverns is 1/2 mile on the right.

From Easton, PA - Phillipsburg, NJ Area

Route 22

Take Route 22 west to Route 33 south to I-78 west to Hellertown (Exit 67). Turn left at bottom of exit ramp onto Main Street (Route 412 south). Go to 5th traffic light and turn left onto Penn Street. Lost River Caverns is 1/2 mile on the right.

Route I-78

Take Route I-78 west to Hellertown (Exit 67). Turn left at bottom of exit ramp onto Main Street (Route 412 south). Go to 4th traffic light and turn left onto Penn Street. Lost River Caverns is 1/2 mile on the right.

Freemansburg Avenue

Take Freemansburg Avenue (Through Freemansburg) - After crossing the bridge over the Lehigh River, turn right and continue to the stop sign at the intersection of 412 south. Turn left onto 412 south and continue to Hellertown to the intersection of Penn St. Turn left onto Penn Street. Lost River Caverns is 1/2 mile on the right.

From Harrisburg - Camp Hill, PA Area

Route 81

Take Route 81 north to I-78 east to Hellertown (Exit 67). Turn left at bottom of exit ramp onto Main Street (Route 412 south). Go to 4th traffic light and turn left onto Penn Street. Lost River Caverns is 1/2 mile on the right.

From Hershey, PA Area

Route 422

Take Route 422 to Route 222 east, to Route 309 south, to I-78 east to Hellertown (Exit 67). Turn left at bottom of exit ramp onto Main Street (Route 412 south). Go to 4th traffic light and turn left onto Penn Street. Lost River Caverns is 1/2 mile on the right.

From Trenton, NJ Area

Route 295 (to Route 95)

Take Route 295 north to Route 95, to Route 32 north, to Route 611 north, to Route 212 west to Route 412 north into Hellertown. At second traffic light in Hellertown (Penn Street) turn right. Continue 1/2 mile to Lost River Caverns on the right.

Route 295 (to Route 413)

Take Route 295 north to exit 47B, Route 541 north (County Road), turn left onto US Route 130 south to Route 413 north, to Route 611 north, to Route 212 north, to Route 611 north to Route 412 north into Hellertown. At second traffic light in Hellertown (Penn Street) turn right. Continue 1/2 mile to Lost River Caverns on the right.
